Your photos stay on your device
21 Slow Cams stores your photos locally on your device. Your photos are never uploaded anywhere. There is no photo server, no cloud, no account. We cannot see, access, or recover them.
Data loss: please read this
Because your photos exist only on your device, deleting the app permanently deletes all photos you have not exported. We keep no copy and cannot restore them. If some photos matter to you, export them to your photo library before deleting the app.
Switching to a new phone
On iPhone, your photos are included in your device backup. If you set up a new iPhone from an iCloud backup, or use the direct phone-to-phone transfer, 21 Slow Cams and all your photos come along automatically. Photos cannot be recovered individually from iCloud; only a full device backup restore or transfer brings them back.
On Android, photos are not transferred automatically when you switch devices. Before changing phones, export the photos you want to keep to your photo library.
What we collect
No personal information. The app does not require an account, does not ask for your name or email, and does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell data and we do not show ads.
The only data the app collects is a small amount of anonymous usage and crash data, described below.
Camera & photos
The camera is used only to take photos inside the app. When you export a photo, it is saved to your device's photo library. Only the photos you choose to export, only when you tap save. The app never reads or browses your existing photo library.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules a local reminder on your device at 21:00. These reminders are generated entirely on your device and no notification data leaves it.
Analytics & crash reporting
The app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (services provided by Google) to understand how the app is used and to fix crashes. This data includes:
